A SCARA robot is used to apply media. Recipe storage allows easy part changeovers and the teach mode makes programming quick and easy. This particular machine also included 2 rotary stripers. The part is rotated while applying media to tube circumference.

An inline toggle escapement device meters two parts at once into two independent application positions. A two axis, servo driven, actuator is used to position each part precisely beneath six dispenser nozzles for proper media application.

This machine applies media at both ends of tubular parts. Due to inconsistencies in center tube lengths, parts move back and forth to locate applicating position from each end. Parts are loaded onto trays, inserted into machine for applicating, and then transferred down a conveyor.
